New Parent Welcome Coffee: Welcome event for new parents to meet each other and Room Parents, first day of school in August.
Back to School Night: Held within first two to three weeks of school, for general orientation and grade-level teacher meetings.
Weekly School Mass: Students are dropped off at the Church to attend a school Mass, for most weeks of the school year, on most Thursday mornings at 8:00 am.
All Saints Day Carnival: Students dress up as their favorite Saint or Biblical character for a school-wide costume parade and contest, held during last week of October.
Las Posadas: School families participate in this event at Saints Peter and Paul Church, held annually in December. It is a Mexican holiday celebration which represents the Holy Family’s search for shelter at Christmas.
Christmas Musical Show: One of our most popular annual events! Each grade participates in a performance of Christmas songs and choreographed dance routines for parents and family, held in the evening, mid-December.
Christmas Break: Two week school break over the Christmas holidays through New Year’s Day.
Open House and Catholic Schools Week: Beginning the last Sunday in January and including week-long celebration of Catholic education, with Teacher, Parent, Student, and Faith Appreciation Days.
Science Fair: The entire student body participates in a week-long Science Fair, held in February. Lower grades prepare class projects, while upper grade students each prepare their own exhibit. Judging takes place on a Wednesday, and the winning students from each class are presented their awards the next evening during a parent meeting.
Easter Break: Beginning on Holy Thursday and continuing for the week following Easter Sunday.
Sports Day: A day of games and sports activities for students, to promote health and physical fitness, held annually in May.
Multicultural Day: Each grade is given a foreign country to represent, and students prepare food, displays, maps, performances and songs as an interactive learning experience for students. Held during the school day in May.
Graduation Activities: Festivities for both Kindergarten and 8th grade graduates. Kindergarten students and their parents attend a ceremony and reception in the school hall. 8th graders participate in a Spiritual Retreat, Graduation Field Trip, Luncheon, Awards Assembly, culminating with a special Mass and presentation of their diplomas in the Church Hall.
