Sts. Peter & Paul Parish & School
Saints Peter and Paul School is a ministry of the Norbertine Fathers of St. Michael’s Abbey — a parish school whose identity is rooted in Gospel values and centred on the Eucharist, forming missionary disciples called to serve for the greater glory of God.
Our Identity
Grounded in the nine-hundred-year Premonstratensian tradition of prayer, scholarship, and care for souls, Saints Peter and Paul School exists within the parish, flows from it, and is shaped by it. Under the pastoral care of the Norbertine Fathers, entrusted to this community by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, parish and school form one community of faith — gathered around one altar, sent to permeate and transform the world from within.
At the heart of Norbertine life is Communio — a deep, lived unity of persons journeying together toward God, shaped by common prayer and fervent love of the Eucharist. From this Communio our school draws its identity and its purpose.
Our Foundation
The school is an apostolic expression of the parish — one of the primary ways this community hands on the faith, forms disciples, and serves the next generation. Everything the school does flows from and returns to the life of the parish gathered around the Eucharist.
As an Archdiocesan parish school operating under the authority of the pastor, Saints Peter and Paul is part of the largest Catholic school system in the United States and is committed to the standards of the Department of Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
Our Partnership
The Church is clear: parents and guardians are the first and most important educators of their children in faith. The school supports and accompanies that beautiful responsibility.
To enroll a child at Saints Peter and Paul is to enter a shared commitment between family, school, and parish to form each child in truth, goodness, and holiness. Families are invited to participate fully — at Mass, in prayer, in works of mercy, and in the liturgical life of the school year.

Our Calling
Every student is invited into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, formed in virtue and scholarship as a missionary disciple — spiritually, intellectually, and physically — and sent forth to serve for the greater glory of God.
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind,
that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
— Romans 12:2 · St. Paul, Patron of our School
Our Welcome
Saints Peter and Paul School welcomes students from all faith traditions, cultures, and economic backgrounds. All who seek truth are welcome here — and all who enter are invited into a community where every student is recognised as bearing the dignity and worth given by Jesus Christ.
Our Heart
The Eucharist is the source from which everything flows, and daily liturgies are woven through the school day — the sacred rhythm within which all learning, formation, and community life finds its meaning.
