Academics

Saints Peter and Paul School’s program and methods parallel the goals embedded within its philosophy. The school continually seeks to develop and challenge the best that is in each student, while providing an enriching academic program in a supportive environment.

Saints Peter and Paul’s programs are structured within a framework that allows a great deal of flexibility, with a dedication to meeting the needs of and encouraging the growth of the whole child. The program puts a strong emphasis on the academic rigor in each subject that is balanced by responsiveness to individual differences.

  • Kindergarten through the Fifth Grade students enjoy the benefits of a self-contained classroom
  • Middle school (6th–8th) offers a fully departmentalized program to meet the students’ growing needs for more in-depth study in each discipline
  • At all grade levels, specialists in fine art, music, physical education, reading and technology interact weekly with the students

Foremost, each child’s thinking skills, responsibility, good effort and positive attitude are especially encouraged.

A Record of Success

There are many ways to evaluate a school’s success, some objective and others more subjective. By both standards, Saints Peter and Paul is thriving.

Most students perform at or above grade level. The results of standardized tests demonstrate that the students’ performances are competitive with other highly regarded private schools.

100% of our students graduate from high school. 96% further their education at a community college, university, or other institution of higher education. The students are motivated, enjoying learning and school life, working hard and playing hard!

Title 1

In addition to the core subjects, we also offer Title 1 services for students who qualify. The students who qualify are given small group instruction in reading and language art 3 to 5 days a week for 40 to 50 minutes.
